I recently came to realize how much I’ve learned in accepting other people’s personalities. I used to be the type of guy who wants everybody to think like me - especially those who are with me in the house - more specifically my wife. I used to say, “Look at me, I’m happy because I do this and this and this…. You should be like me.” But then I grew spiritually and learned to accept people for as long as sin is not involved. In other words, I can learn to accept the criminal but not the crime because the crime is evil but the criminal is just the victim.

Well, it’s not actually a typhoon but a rather “boosted” monsoon rain. The boost came from a nearby super typhoon which pulled too much rain clouds over the poor islands of the Philippines. The resulting rain was torrential and it flooded lots of cities and towns. Crops were ruined and lives were lost. But then, it’s over.
